Esmeralda Sella | Sinèa Duo
Sinèa is a jazz duo formed by italian pianist Esmeralda Sella and drummer Pasquale Mandia.
They are promoting their new live concert entitled "Mare Nostrum - Music, rites and traditions of the Mediterranean".
The project wants to unite two extremely interdependentaspects of music and human personality which respond to the exigency for emotionally link the musician and the listener through the singability of the popular and folk melodies with the pathos and unpredictability of improvised music. The resulting sound is the constant that unites the predictability of the "known" and that reassures the melancholic soul with the myelisms of our italian roots together with the fervor and suspense given by the exploration of unusual sound territories.
