Federica Cerizza | Faith Trio
This is an original music project made up of me on piano, Giancarlo Oggionni on double bass and Toni Boselli on drums. Our music harks back to the sounds of Keith Jarrett, Paul Motian and Charlie Haden with references to European classical music. In our music the melodic research is placed at the centre, so the song unleashes a powerful and strongly characterized sound image. The refined harmonies combined with the attention towards a lively and tense rhythm are the heart of our artistic research which aims to be both elaborate and easy-to-use music.
The name, Faith Trio, aims to emphasize the movement of trust and vitality that for usi s playing togheter.
In March we will record and publish our music with the well-known Italian label Filibusta Records.
