Info

This program tells a story. All pieces except the final one were originally written by men. The journey begins with admiration. In Ademi Qyz and The Girl from Ipanema, a woman is portrayed as beautiful and inspiring. In Suluyim, a man is emotionally touched yet uncertain how to express his feelings. In Sing a Song of Song, love has already been lost and the male perspective carries regret and longing. In the final piece, the perspective shifts. Qaita Bastar Kezim, written by Aidana Riza, gives the woman her own voice. After heartbreak, she rises and chooses herself. Through this narrative — from admiration to loss to renewal — the program reflects on how women are perceived and ultimately reclaims the narrative.
